Our Story

Founded in Hong Kong in 2000, Qumbet is a pioneer in the street furniture space with a vision to beautify our streets in the same way we beautify our homes. In partnership with local governments, press distributors, telco players and outdoor advertising firms, Previously  Qumbet has successfully designed, manufactured and supplied over 10 thousands newspaper kiosks, bus shelters, payphones, city light panels, billboards to worldwide countries from China to India, Malaysia, Romania, Croatia, Poland, USA and Turkey.

As of 2018, Qumbet has tangible and intangible assets in coordinated city furniture projects, including the development of a "community platform" for local SME's, enterprises, residents in the neighborhoods, as well as smart city furniture under the new generation Peri brand. With Peri's reinvented business model, we have obtained a 15-year concession agreement with the country's second largest telecom operator in Eastern Central Europe.

Peri concept with like-minded digital street furniture players and providers of devices, apps, and portal management, Qumbet continues to seek the market and lead the next wave of smart city renovation projects.

Our Vision

We transform traditional street furniture and outdoor advertising into information technology; this new generation physical and digital community platform thus provides a new marketplace. Our business model has effective public and social impacts, in a matter of fact this initiative will also be the first connection and sharing platform for outbreaks and disaster that we never want to encounter again. Here are the Peri vision that will prove the Power of Street Furniture.

Peri builds highly intelligent, and ultra-connected smart communications infrastructure, applications and networks that seamlessly blend into our streets, transit, and public spaces, connecting us all effortlessly while monitoring useful data along the points in between. Incredibly versatile and easy-to-use,

Peri amplify and streamline the urban experience, keeping people connected and making cities smarter where it matters most.
Beyond all, Peri with first community tablet (Street & Online Market Place) mostly focus to run localized advertising platform to connecting transit users and pedestrians with local brands and merchants. Exactly like we used it Bulletin Board in old goodies days.
